THANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR FUNDRAISER A HUGE SUCCESS!
We do appreciate the community support during our recent Re-Chex Burger fundraiser. You helped us raise over $2,500 June 13th to help fund operations at the Carroll County Heritage Museum. Thank you!

“They say ‘many hands make light work,’ and that was so true this past weekend, Friday, June 13th, 2025, when members of our CCHS board of directors volunteered to cook and serve up Re-Chex Burgers — helping to us hold one of our best fundraisers ever,” announced board president Starlene Lee. Here are some photos of the successful event served up in the Community Room next to the Carroll County Heritage Museum on the Berryville Square, during opening night of the Berryville Chamber of Commerce’s annual Ice Cream Social:

“Many thanks to the following board members who showed up to help,” Lee said. They included: Star Lee, Bobby Bishop, Dale Boatright, Julie Clark, Donnita Gerster, Leane Jackson, Karen Johnson, Allison Klatt, and Ann Richardson. Volunteers assisting with cooking and clean-up chores included Chris Lee, Steve Johnson and Billie Myers.

Lee recognized the many businesses and individuals in Carroll County who donated goods and services to make the fundraiser a success. Special thanks goes out to Evergreen Pastures & Provisions in Berryville, who generously donated all the meat for the fundraiser. Thank you also to Harter House in Berryville, Harps Grocery Store in Green Forest, and Harts Grocery Store in Eureka Springs for donating the burger buns.

Karen Johnson and Allison Klatt donated water and soda for the fundraiser; Dena Myers donated fresh tomatoes and onions; Star Lee donated paper products and plastic bags; Bobby Bishop donated ice.

“We also appreciate the volunteers who showed up ahead of time to prep the burgers and condiments,” she said. They included: Joni Kelch, Janelle Dotson, Karen Johnson, Julie Clark, Bobby Bishop, Hannah Olson, plus Star Lee. “We count our blessings and know we are very fortunate to have a team like this supporting our mission every step of the way,” she said.

Lee concluded: “And, thanks to all our friends in the local community who stopped by to enjoy the nostalgic menu of Re-Chex Burger baskets. We hope to hold another such fundraiser again very soon. We so appreciate your support!”

Kudos to Julia Borkowski for designing the Re-Chex Burger fundraising flyer!
